The Hambletonian Society plans to seek bids for hosting the event starting with the race set for 2027, after their agreement with Gural’s management ends next year.

I want to show that denying participation to suspected drug trainers is more important than continuing to host the Hambletonian, which is why it may be moved away from the Meadowlands,” Gural stated.

For over a decade, Gural has pushed to dismantle Atlantic City’s monopoly on casino gambling, aspiring to introduce slot machines and live-dealer games at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
